Situation: Self wanted to allow their readers to engage with an editorial sweepstakes program at the moment they were reading the magazine, wherever they were. This prompted them to extend their desktop sweeps to mobile, using Snipp.
Solution: We powered over 60 sweepstakes contests in one issue! The contest was driven through one centralized registration. Customers could scan any tag and once registered were automatically entered into a contest – up to a max of 5 contests. Sophisticated fraud detection ensured that users logged in from mobile devices only, that each user was unique and had to actually scan the tag to enter. This is the second year running that Self has used Snipp to power their sweepstakes contests.
